Transportation:

Transportation between accommodation and the three conference venues (Marriott Amman, Yarmouk University - Irbid and German-Jordanian University – Amman (Jabal Al-Lweibdeh)) are provided from the first day (16 April 2019) of the conference. Thanks to Al-Balqa Applied University and the Ministry of Tourism / Jordan Tourism Board for providing shuttle busses to be at the disposal of the Kolleg's participants. A transportation schedule will be advertised and distributed on the 1st day of the conference.

Language:

The Kolleg language is English throughout the sessions. NO simultaneous interpretation service will be provided.

​

Documentation

A substantive background documents and information sheets on the themes of the Kolleg will be prepared in advance of the event to lay the basis for the debate and raise issues for the discussion. Yarmouk University, in collaboration with relevant agencies in Jordan, will provide support in the preparation of these documents.

​

Media coverage to the sessions will be provided by the Jordanian media agencies, including Yarmouk University, Jordanian TV, etc. Jordanian newspapers will cover the entire works and procedures of the Kolleg.

Cultural Program

Participants who are leaving the country of Saturday, the 20th of April have the opportunity to visit Petra on the 19th of April after check-out. Further details will be provided during the conference.

​

Exhibition for paintings on Jordanian CH:

 Jordanian artists will reflect their own views on the CH of Jordan and the region on painting that will be exhibited in the halls of the Kolleg at Yarmouk University.

​

 

Certificates:

Participants will receive certificates as an evidence for their participation in the Kolleg.

 

Liability and Insurance:

Organizers of the Kolleg will not take any responsibility for injuries or damages involving persons or property during the Conference. Participants are advised to take their own personal insurance prior to coming to Jordan.
